Knife 126 The Woodcock

This a popular skinning knife with a blade designed specifically for the job, it is a well balanced knife with an excellent D2 tool steel blade by Enzo of Finland. The steel is almost a stainless due to it's high chromium content, however it takes an edge more akin to a carbon steel blade without being to difficult to sharpen.

Fitted with Dymondwood scales that are impervious to water the whole knife construction is sealed with 2 tonne epoxy glue rendering it suitable for dressing game that is to enter the human food chain.

The Wodcock is supplied with a leather sheath, presentation box & Certificate of Authenticity.

Knife 125 Partridge Grade

This Partridge Knife is built on an Enzo (Finland) D2 tool steel blade (almost a stainless steel due to it's high chromium content) mated to Ivory substitute scales with red liners, fitted with a decorative lanyard tube & heavy brass bolsters.

As with all my Partridge knives this is a very substantial knife well suited to the rigours of stalking & game dressing activities, the blade will take a wonderfull edge & hold it for a long time. Even after dressing two deer with one of these blades, cutting through bone etc a couple of strokes on a ceramic hone restored the edge to shaving quality!

A lifetime purchase one to pass on to your son in the future, finished to a high standard, supplied with a leather sheath, presentation box & Certificate of Authenticity.

Knife 105

Special offer!! SOLD

Your chance to own a genuine John Patrick Knife at a Knockdown price, this is one of my earlier knives & is not quite perfect, see if you can spot the mistake in the gallery?

I'll tell you  the brass bolsters do not quite match. Apart from that the knife is perfect.

The blade is a Frosts of Sweden stainless steel, is razor sharp as you'd expect, the scales are Red/Black Dymondwood (Trademark) which is a resin impregnated timber lamination. This stuff is very tough & has the benefit of being impervious to water, the scales are mounted using a 2 ton epoxy resin & brass rivets, designed to last a lifetime.

This Knife would normally sell for a lot more, apart from the small inconsistency is in every other respect perfect.
