A lot of people have been asking me if I would run a professional knife sharpening service, so after some thought I have decided to offer this service to everyone.

I imported the Edfge Pro Professional sharpening kit from the States primarily to sharpen my own blades, most of which are sharpened down to 2000 grit finished on a ceramic hone or leather strop impregnated with Jewellers rouge.

Blades sharpened like this usually only need a quick touch up on the hone to restore a shaving quality edge after several uses. It's quite normal to be able to use a knife for a year only touching up occasionaly on the ceramic hone before resorting to re-sharpening with a  stone.(This does of course depend on the quality of the blade).

I will sharpen your knife for you finishing to 2000 grit & return it to you for £10 plus postage.

I usually post my knives by Specail Delivery which costs £5.40 for next day delivery.

If you require a cheaper postal service please specify & include the right amount with your knife.
